What we currently use
The Astro website does not require advertising or analytics cookies for its core operation.
To remember your privacy choice, the browser stores a local value named “lynx-consent-v1”. It is used to apply your choice and avoid asking on every page load.
The choice remains in local storage until you change it, clear it in your browser, or it is replaced after a material change to the consent mechanism.
Necessary technologies
Necessary local storage supports the consent mechanism and website security. It is not used for advertising or profiling.
Functional / external content
The Field Engineering map is rendered locally and does not require external-content permission.
If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled for additional anti-bot protection, its external script will be controlled by this category. The form retains its local honeypot, minimum-fill-time and server-side rate-limit protections.
Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is the only analytics tool. Its script is loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com only after valid opt-in for Analytics.
It measures visits and performance. Cloudflare states that it uses no cookies, local storage or fingerprinting. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Microsoft Clarity.
Marketing
We currently do not use Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing or other advertising trackers. Any future marketing technology will be disabled by default and require a separate choice.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can reopen Cookie settings from the website footer at any time and change or withdraw optional permissions.
